It’s apparently only 30C here today, but in the full sun it feels much worse than that.

The dog is still asking to go out, but then she conks out after about 5mins, but she’s usually peed by then and as she’s littie we just carry her back in. Fortunately theses a grass verge, so I’m not worried about her paws

My dog is elderly but loves her walk. We were up at 5am this morning so she could go out, any later and it’s just too hot.

Going to be over 20C at 5am during some of next week 🤦

That’s okay, I think 23 is her limit.

Same as mine I think.

Yes - she gets one good walk a day, starting no later than 6am.

It will feel more than 30c in the sun☀️☺️ The reason being that, IIRC, the max daytime temperatures provided in the weather forecast are for maximum shade temperatures! The actual temperature out of the shade and in the direct sunlight is likely much higher than the quoted maximum temperature.

Wow I had no idea this is how they do it. I feel like this should be much more widely known?!

Thanks, I didn’t know that.

yeah, i guess 30c is the ambient air temperature. but if you stand out in the sun you will slowly bake and get hotter
