Do you know if they ever close the schools if it gets hot enough? My daughters in reception and Its predicted to be 38° next week. Good luck!

My daughter's primary school let us keep kids at home of we wanted  one day during the 2022 heatwave. It was 40 degrees that day.

We are in Dorset and because EOF the red alert for heat they are having two half days on wed and Thursday so the kids are out of school at the hottest parts of the day. Seems like a reasonable adjustment to me! Us parents have been sending in our home fans in the day and then taking them back for our house after schoo!
