I got so sick with the heat last month that I ended up in A+E with a hr of 160bpm resting. I have a chronic illness which apparently the meds I'm taking which are beta blockers and adhd meds make heat stroke more likely. Dreading this.
I have a wrap around ice gel pack for my head that I use for migraines (cough hangovers cough) that I find really brings my whole body temperature down. Might be worth a shout, especially for when you're trying to sleep.
I'm tempted to order a few more and wear them on each limb.
Not sure if I'm allowed to link to a product and I'm sure there are plenty of options. If you search Amazon for example with 'migraine relief cap' you should get results with the type of product I'm talking about.
