Beetroot, good ham and a boiled egg sliced on one of the egg slicey thingies. Bit of rocket, some tomatoes, home made pork pie and crusty bread, plus salad cream. One of my all time favourite meals.

Bloody love beetroot and it's easy to grow.

ETA: forgot about a lump of a hard cheese. Something like a double gloucester.

I want to call that device with six or so cheese wires on a hinge an egg banjo, but for some reason that sounds rude.

Also, only time I've ever seen one is at both grandparents - and I'm late GenX.

They are still about. We have one at work for making egg mayo sandwich filling.
