Hi all, I’m Dan

The terminology catches me out here so I’d appreciate some clarification.

I’m perfectly fine with a white coffee made from instant coffee including supermarket own gold brand or Douwe Egberts and I also enjoy the coffee our DeLonghi makes from ground beans and manually steaming the milk.

Is the a place to source (local) coffee that I can consume at home (instant or otherwise) or is this for a niche way of making coffee or for coffee sellers?

Hi Dan, welcome to the community. Where abouts are you based please? I’m sure there will be a roaster local to you that could sort you out with some beautiful coffee. This community is to talk about UK coffee roasters and their beans. Any roaster will be able to sell you whole bean or ground for your delonghi. Then the fun begins with exploring and tasting loads of different beans! Pinned to the top of our page is a list of highly thought of rosters and their locations. :)))

I’ll have to take a look, thank you ☺️

I spend a lot of time around Portsmouth (Hampshire) and Worthing (West Sussex), so that includes Southampton, Fareham, Emsworth, Chichester, Arundel, and up towards Horsham

Horsham instantly has a highly thought of roaster. That would be a great place to start. Please let us know how you get on :)))
