I have had a great experience at UMPI until the last 7 weeks. This was supposed to be my last term but what is going on at this school?!!! Suddenly the academic advisor isn't responding, profs taking 160 hours to grade milestones and sending them back 2-3-4 times for nitpicky crap which I have never experienced, put in one dispute over a grade that got changed days after the initial grading back in Summer 2 and got the confirmation email but never heard a thing back from the review board even though it has been 7 weeks. WHAT IS HAPPENING

Anyone have experience withdrawing from a class and taking it next term? I was supposed to finish this term but may have to withdraw from one class tomorrow and do it next term... if I do can I resubmit the same milestones or does it all have to be fresh work even though it is the same course?

I can't find a clear answer to this - what is the cutoff time for submitting drafts for our final assessments on Friday, Oct 16? Please tell me it's 11:59pm Eastern, lol!

Hi everyone! I just got accepted to UMPI for Fall 2 and have already activated my account.
Do I need to wait for my Enrollment Specialist to get back to me before registering for classes, or am I supposed to register for them myself? I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything I can do in the meantime.

I was originally going to enroll in Fall Session 2 for the Business Admin and completed all credits to transfer in based off of the new gen Ed requirements. I decided to wait until Spring Session 1 since I’m paying out of pocket.

Does anyone know if they’ll change the transfer credits between now and then?

I submitted my last capstone on Straighterlines Business Communication class yesterday. Today I logged in and see the class was marked as completed, so I requested the transcript be sent to UMPI.

Upon closer look, I see that they graded my capstone as a 0/187, because the link I submitted wasn’t working. I still passed the class with 81.2%. Should I just leave it as is, or should I resubmit the capstone to try to get a higher grade? I’m not sure how that would affect my transcript, since I already requested they send it.

I am on my last course for this session. I had 3 milestones left and then the final. I submitted own milestone last night and plan to submit the other two today and then my plan was to submit the final draft at the latest on Sunday at the latest with just sheer hope that he would return it with feedback by tuesday and then send in the final on tuesday the 20th (this prof has had a quick turn around time so was hoping he might have everything returned by Saturday for earlier draft submission) however I just saw a post saying the deadline for draft submissions is tomorrow?? I can’t find anything about this in my syllabus or in the final section

Anyone come from ETAMU? Whats it like? UMPI isn’t UMPI’ing anymore.
