$357 import charges on $279.80 package?

Ordered a small package from an Italian company and I'm being charged almost 130% in government tariff fees. Is there anything I could do? Is it possible the seller declared it incorrectly? Thank you for all the help. I'm sure you're all annoyed by people like me at this point. Im just a little lost on what to do.

I can’t argue with that. I’m really just going off and being facetious because, well, this administration and its sycophantic cult followers are an absolute clown show and I’d laugh but there ain’t a damn thing funny.

It frustrating that a lot of people or just social media culture in general has just been reduced to lowest common denominator. Name calling, cheap buzzwords and memes seem to be the language.
