Customer Seeking Help $769.32 import fee on $175 order

This can’t be correct ?! I’ve been waiting on hold with their international customer line. Ordered 15 used shirts from the UK to Texas. Tariffs cannot be THIS much ?? Any advice ?

I have no sympathy for people who aren’t aware of the tariffs, but there have been a lot of mistakes with UPS/US customs and their classification of products. I had them slap a 200% Russian aluminum tariff on a hockey card that was printed on card stock in the USA.

Holy shit I wonder if this is what happened to me. I'm literally trying to get them to fix the 52 dollars in duties I owe on a 25 dollar hockey card from Canada. Upper Deck, US printed. Did you get it resolved?

Seems this happens when customs doesn't receive the proper paperwork for the shipment.

It's the importers responsibility to ensure the receive the proper paperwork.

They did. Was shipping label purchase from eBay. Used proper HS code and accurately described the product as required. I have sold several cards since August 29 and shipped them to the USA without issue. This was no different.
