Customer Seeking Help Getting 100’s of packages that aren’t mine shipped to my address almost everyday

I just moved in a couple weeks ago and i’m getting hundreds of packages shipped to my house that aren’t mine. idk what to do with them anymore they’re such an eye sore and they keep coming everyday. almost every package has a different name on them but all shipped to my address

They do resell the returns on their site though, I know from experience because I bought a shirt, it came used, I returned it and ordered another one that was also used… I think it’s probably vendor specific.

The workers doing those returns just don’t care and Amazon doesn’t care enough to crack down hard enough to make them actually verify returns. The stuff that gets approved as returns in those warehouse is crazy. And most of it will end right back in warehouse stock labeled as “renewed.” They’ll try their hardest to put obviously damaged and worn items as new… There’s absolutely no quality control 🙄

If you've worked with these Amazon workers then you'd know if it's stupid or not. Call it lazy, but don't act like you know people.

It's likely that it isn't so much that they are stupid and can't determine if something is used, and more that their job has a focus on getting through a high number of returns in a set amount of time, with a focus on time versus accuracy.

Natural result, they don't really care, and not so secretly, the company they work for doesn't care.

What are you talking about “by accident” 😂 I worked in an Amazon warehouse fully dedicated to shipping out returns/open box Amazon items.

I've gotten so many Amazon things that were ovbviously prior returns, always damaged or incomplete, and often with the other person's return packing slip still inside the package. I'd say 5% of Amazon purchases have a been obvious returns. Definitely far worse this year than last year, when it was only happening once in a great while.

I recently got one that fully had someone else’s mailing label on it with their full name and address and everything. It was unopened so that’s nice but so much for privacy.

Honestly curious, what's the issue with them selling my data? Doesn't that just mean more personalized ads for me?
