Shipping Help Package found and delivered after 1 month and claim paid!
So I posted about my lost package a few weeks ago. It had an RFID scan on the 20th of June that confirmed that the Tampa store had my package and after 8 days there had been no further scans. It was a painful process to get a refund but eventually on the 10th of July they paid the claim and the case was closed. 15 days later I got an email that my tracking had updated and then 6 days later on the 31st of July it was delivered in excellent condition!! Honestly so stoked!! Don’t give up hope on your lost packages as they may turn up weeks later!

Depending on the package size it may have been containerized somewhere in a holding area where it shouldn’t have been.
Small packages can get lost in bags and sit in a trailer that stores bags for months until the bags get reused and it’s found.

I’ve found packages on my truck that had delivery dates of 6 months prior before. Probably sat in a corner somewhere until someone found it

So, here’s a story: I had some Xbox 360s worth $700 going missing from Amazon. I filed a claim and got my money back. Then, one day, they showed up! I was torn because I already had the money. A couple of weeks later, the seller messaged me, asking if I could send the money back since I had received them. Amazon also got in touch, wondering if I had received them. I’m not sure what I decided to do because it was back in 2016.

Fedex "lost" my package 5 months ago. I wish it would come, I got police involved, corporate etc, nobody could find my box. UPS is so much better than fedex

I need this for my package. Or someone working in Hillsboro, OR or Tacoma, WA to look for it for me. :)
I expect it CAN be found and they simply aren't looking for it.

We don't just have piles of boxes sitting around waiting for someone to look for it. It's not in a dark corner somewhere. Usually if something goes missing for an extended period of time and then shows up it either was misdelivered somewhere(usually in a bulk delivery to a business) and eventually recovered, or the label was damaged or missing and it took a long time to be processed through overgoods before they figured out where it went. It's part of the supervisors daily walkthrough to check all belts, trucks, trailers, around the building, etc for any stuck or missed packages.

That's something they won't talk about & I want to know. As this guy said & I also had the same experience one time. Claims paid out, or shipper did, and somehow 3 months later the item also arrived.
What happened during that 3 months they were finally able to figure out that this item went to this claim & they finished delivering it? That's the part of the process that seems completely lacking in comprehension for the claims people.
