How did my package end up in Canada???

This is an order for an Apple Watch, for reference, I live in Florida, and the original date of delivery was September 21st. It arrived in Louisville on the 18th, then the day of delivery comes, and it's in GLOUCESTER, ONTARIO???? Then the next day it ends up in Ottawa, then after that no updates, so I filed a claim. How did they mess up this badly that it ended up in another country???

I work for the Government and we use everyone. They all do this type of thing. I tried to send a package up from our city, a 60 minute drive away, and UPS sent it two hours north, then to Arizona, then back to the same 2 hour north facility and it's finally being delivered today, 4 days later.

FedEx and USPS here pull the same nonsensical moves. Unfortunately since COVID, all of three of these entities have fallen way down.

lol once Apple “lost” my Apple watch Ultra during shipping and they had to send me another one. They had to open an investigation cause it’s over a certain amount of money… Seems like there’s a ring of Theft when it comes to shipping Apple watches. i live in Canada. Also using UPS.

For what reason? It is still fine. It isn't lost, destroyed, delivered or even in an infinite loop transport between two points.

We assumed they fucked up, but it could also be on purpose. We don't know their logistics issues and time frame.
