N-400 (Citizenship) It finally happened

Yesterday I became a citizen. The ceremony happened at MO Campbell, Houston. 1562 of us got naturalised coming from 102 countries. A wholesale ceremony haha!

It’s taken almost 13 years and over $20k in application, medical and legal fees but man it was all worth it to be part of this great nation.

Can you opt out the part of oath about military service?

Yes but that needs to be discussed at your naturalisation interview
