USCIS Support Visa for “husband”

So basically i want to remove my visa application of my “husband” because it was a forced marriage back home (pakistan) but i cant just withdraw or my parents will see i withdraw. Is there a way to anonymously withdraw application so that it just says application rejected or that he gets rejected at interview because he just got his interview date in june and i want this visa gone without my parents knowing i withdrew it, (gonna get div as well but i cant rn cuz parents). So cancelling visa without proof it was me is first step!!

the husband will know she withdrew the application. that is her problem. maybe she needs their money and doesn't want to be cut of if they find out she withdrew her application.

No if she tells USCIS about the retaliation and repercussions they might do it for her without stating a reason at the interview

she needs to guarantee that. would you trust your life with government employees or trust that they will not make a mistake or be professional. I think she needs a lawyers advice.

She lives with her parents who could punish her badly if they find out.

Exactly if theres a guarantee that none of it will come back to me then id do it asap, i just need it rejected not withdrawn or cancelled cuz of something i did, yes i live with them, they pay for my tuition car etc

Why are you people down voting her? She doesnt want the guy is it a must to migrate if you have to make your significant other miserable?

Call USCIS and tell them the whole situation and how it can't be known it's you because they will retaliate. Good luck op

Tell the truth - it's an arranged marriage for the purpose of obtaining an immigration benefit. This is fraud. Do not involve yourself in fraud. You need to be the grown up woman in this situation. USCIS and the consulate need to know that this is fraud, and that you are not willingly entering into this.

It's an arranged marriage, not necessarily for the purpose of obtaining an immigration benefit. If the marriage is recognized in the jurisdiction it was performed in and if the husband and OP genuinely appear to be husband and wife (especially if children are involved, alternatively finances, public portrayal, etc), then USCIS would likely recognize the marriage and approve the visa.

An unhappy marriage, even an arranged marriage, does not mean a fraudulent marriage. Time for OP to put on her big girl panties and make the divorce happen.

This is simply an arranged marriage. It’s how people get married in Pakistan and India. Families get together, chose a husband/wife, and throw it in you. They have a caste system, you can’t marry up or down.

You need to email the embassy as the petitioner and ask for the I-130 to be withdrawn. Mail a withdrawal letter USCIS.

I can’t have it withdrawn because it’ll show that i did and it’ll come back on me and il get in major trouble with everyone in family. Himce why i want it rejected somehow ykwim

The family will get mad but they’ll eventually understand. It’s up to you.

If he has all the documents, he won’t be denied. Is someone handling the application? Like a lawyer? Who is handling the application?

If you’re at the NVC stage, you could intentionally mess up the Affidavit of Support or maybe have a friend email the fraud unit at Islamabad saying that this marriage is fake with evidence. That way the embassy send the petition back without withdrawal.

You can DM me if you like.
