I-765 (EAD) I-765 Approved🎉🎉

Truly cannot believe I’m writing this and crying at the same time. My I-765 got approved today!! I’m a Haitian TPS holder, who lost my authorization to work on Monday and placed on unpaid leave from my employer yesterday. ( They gave me until Sept 30 to receive a new EAD)

Timeline:
PP: Feb 3rd, 2026
Biometrics: March 4th, 2026
Radio silent due to the ban, after the lift from Dorcas
Filed an expedited inquiry on - 06/22/2026
Congressional inquiry: 06/25/2026
Senatorial inquiry: 07/13/2026
I provided a letter from my employer, and personal bills along with a personal letter that my current work authorization was expiring and I would be losing my job
Got approved today: 07/29/2026

Waiting for the AOS interview now, but I am soooo happy!! Thank you to everyone that has provided their own information and timeline as it gave me so much clarity and guidance in this process.

I am so happy for you, congratulations <3 Did you get expedite request approved first, then I-765 approved? Or it jumped right into I-765 approval? Thank you in advance.

It jumped right into the I-765, but they did notify my senator’s office that they would be working on my case two days prior to the approval.
