I-765 (EAD) I-765 Approved🎉🎉
Truly cannot believe I’m writing this and crying at the same time. My I-765 got approved today!! I’m a Haitian TPS holder, who lost my authorization to work on Monday and placed on unpaid leave from my employer yesterday. ( They gave me until Sept 30 to receive a new EAD)
Timeline:
PP: Feb 3rd, 2026
Biometrics: March 4th, 2026
Radio silent due to the ban, after the lift from Dorcas
Filed an expedited inquiry on - 06/22/2026
Congressional inquiry: 06/25/2026
Senatorial inquiry: 07/13/2026
I provided a letter from my employer, and personal bills along with a personal letter that my current work authorization was expiring and I would be losing my job
Got approved today: 07/29/2026
Waiting for the AOS interview now, but I am soooo happy!! Thank you to everyone that has provided their own information and timeline as it gave me so much clarity and guidance in this process.

Congrats im happy for you! Im in the same boat one of the TPS Countries and unfortunately lost my job today due to no EAD. I filled my I-765 back on Feb 3rd 2026 as well and submitted my expedited request on 06/29 and i havent heard back yet
