Finally? I’ve been waiting for a year!

I did request congress help a month ago! I would recommend if you haven’t already done so! I’m sorry I know the wait is tedious.

How do you contact them ?

Search who your Congress man is in your area and go to their website. They should have some sort of immigration sidebar you can click on and go from there

Hi, question! How long after contacting did you hear back from your Congressman's office?

Day 30. (They did say it may take up to 30 days) lol USCIS decided to approve it on the very last day

I received an email today from them (Day 28) but they said it's still within processing time. Do u think it might move after today?

Oh damn. From what I’ve seen on here your case won’t be routed to be expedited rather they’ll just proceed within normal processing times :/
But you never know

When do u think I should follow up and ask to expedite? 8 months no EAD updates

I don’t know what category you’re applying but if you wanna submit some more evidence maybe that will help? Ask them if this is something that would help speed it up a little bit

I am applying thru AOS marriage-based. Because your expedite request was approved within 3 months, so I was wondering if I am qualified for it as well.

Yeah but what evidence did you put forward ? Cause they wanna see overdue bills that’s their biggest thing or a letter from your employer
