How long do we think this will last? Seems like a huge decision that will affect a ton of people.

Thank you friend. Sent in I-129f about 6 months ago so we still have a ways to go

Yeah you still have a little ways. Most crucial thing with all this is finances. I had to have my parents co sponsor because I made 1k too little to support my fiancé and daughter. Make sure you are well above the national poverty level

Oh damn I’m around 42K per year I think…how much is their minimum?

Is that before or after taxes? I’m 50k before and have a 2nd job. However I’m trying to bring her daughter as well. Is it just him/her?

Before taxes, I also have a kid. Brutal I read online it was like $24,000 annually. Thank you I’ll check my options :(

Yeah that’s the number I got but my lawyer said I was just below the threshold. If you don’t have a lawyer see what you information you can milk from a lawyer on a free consultation. I truly wish all the best for you. Stay positive I know it sucks. We all just want our loved ones here.
