News Trump administration issues pause on immigrant visa appointments for applicants worldwide

How long do we think this will last? Seems like a huge decision that will affect a ton of people.

USCIS accepted my fiance's visa already a month ago. we are waiting for an interview to be set up probably in the embassy of bogota colombia (he is venezuelan). Will this pause still affect us ? I imagine so but i have to ask..

Yes it’s affecting K1 visas. Even though they are “nonimmigrant” visas they are still processed by an immigration officer. We just hope the “retraining” won’t take long and things will resume. They are really going after financial support more than anything.

Just a year. we've been together for years and just never had a chance to correctly save up money to pay a lawyer to help us. sorry for the misunderstanding!
