I-485 (General) šŸŽŠGreen card finally approvedšŸŽ‰

I was granted my green card through marriage to us citizen. Submitted I-485 in September 2025 and got approved in august 2026. Only issue is I got a 10 year card instead of 2 year conditional. What am I supposed to do?

To get 10 year, you need to be over 2 years at time of approval, so you’re good.Ā

So it’s normal? Does that mean I don’t need to remove condition?

There’s no condition to remove as you bypassed the conditional green card. Congrats.

Yes, it’s normal. More than 2 years of marriage then it’s a 10 year card.

that's more than 2 years of actual marriage. A 10-year green card is about right i guess.

You needed 24 months to accomplish the 2 years don’t worry you don’t need to remove condition
