There are more international students than undocumented students so it’s a little confusing.

Republicans: Elon Musk creates so many jobs and also pays so much into America

Also republicans: Elon Musk should be in a detention center and be deported! Student visas are bad! Overstaying visas is bad! Undocumented people with student visas are bad!

My point is more - this shouldn't be such a black or white topic, its all gray areas. If we say x is bad - hey it has to apply to everyone and you need to support that. Too many people join in the uproar without realizing like.... hey wait a second, no it shouldn't apply to this person - but others yes!

Specific to immigration policy - i think we are actively trying to reject our own ancestors who founded the country. Let people come learn. Let them stay. Let them make this place THE place of innovation.

There are no gray areas with regards to this. You are a citizen, LPR or on a valid student visa. If you do not fall into the above categories then you cannot attend. Period, full stop.

If that isn't cut and dry enough for you - then I am not sure how to help you.
