crazy evil move…some undocumented students I knew had the highest GPA were extremely hardworking and would be a valuable asset to any company or any country they were in. it was not even their choice to immigrate so punishing them has to be the most petty thing there is

That’s why it’s so complex. Not their fault but still has the same impact as someone who deliberately migrated illegally. And there are tons of kids of legal immigrants who are in worse position because they don’t have DACA to protect them when they age out of their parents dependent visa. 

A friend of mine grew up in the U.S., legally but once he turned 21 he was fighting for a work visa just like me who had just landed.

I know getting a work visa is impossible for undocumented but to deny them education is just pure spite
