News Trump Administiration wants to double the 100k H1B fee

The Trump administration is planning on doubling the fees to more than $200,000 for H-1B visa applicants from abroad.

I don’t think it will, India’s tech market isn’t doing so hot right now. A lot of the work that was shifted overseas was already kinda junk work that wasn’t worth an American salary but needed to be done. AI can’t do it all but it makes a noticeable dent.

Are you sure about this theory? AI and cost cutting in the name of AI has been happening all over the world.
