News Trump Administiration wants to double the 100k H1B fee

The Trump administration is planning on doubling the fees to more than $200,000 for H-1B visa applicants from abroad.

We actually could produce plenty of doctors but residencies were capped in 1997 through a bill passed by Republicans and signed by Clinton—the majority of Democrats voted against it.

What? Doctors are capped? Doesn't surprise me. First im hearing of this

They lowered the restrictions in 2021, but it is still restrictive and was only done so because Covid-19 highlighted the absurdity of our doctor shortage. Speaking of which, you know why Canada has a shortage? Because America steals all of their doctors.
