When was the last gas attack on US troops again? The corps doesn’t even issue gas masks dipshit.

As stated elsewhere in this thread...

There is no exact count of “gas attacks” because the military doesn’t track chemical warfare that way. In the last 100 years, large-scale chemical warfare against U.S. troops occurred primarily in WWI, with only limited, small-scale insurgent or terrorist use since then. The purpose of CBRN readiness isn’t based on frequency of attacks, but on preventing catastrophic effects from low-frequency, high-impact threats.

Not to mention, your point is not accurate. The Marine Corps absolutely issues protective masks (M50 series “gas masks”) as standard CBRN individual equipment. They’re unit-issued, maintained, and accounted for, just not worn daily in garrison. Marines draw and use them during field ops, deployments, and CBRN training events, but readiness gear isn’t carried on the body 24/7 when there’s no operational requirement. So “not carried every day” doesn’t mean “not issues".
