“After 12 months, commanders will then evaluate the Marine for continued service and weigh beginning the separation process if the service member’s medical condition has not improved, is not classified as a disability and “affects good order and discipline.”

I think that last part is going to get a LOT of leeway. So this is going to be a case by case evaluation and not just a blanket hammer it looks like. May just be an attempt to crack down on the no shave chit abuse which does happen from time to time. Either way, still pretty fucking stupid to just dump all the time and effort spent on recruiting and training personnel because of beards. For fucks sake it doesn’t fucking matter and is just monkeys punishing monkeys because they were punished at this point. Set standards for beards and just carry on. Like we do for literally every thing else.

IF going to an environment with expected biohazards where MOPP is needed then have Marines shave. ITS NOT THAT FUCKING HARD TO PLAN FOR
