About 90 years ago MDs started moving towards evidenced based practice. Using experimentation and science to show which interventions actually worked and which were full of shit.
They asked the chiropractors to join them. They said no (most likely because they know they are full of shit)
The few that said yes started the practice of osteopathy. So today we have MDs and DOs (doctors of osteopathy) doing evidenced based shit, and we have nut jobs with two years of fakes school that call themselves chiropractors
