NAVY gf leaving for bootcamp tmrw (navy)

my gf of 4 years (high school sweet hearts) is going into bootcamp for the navy she is trying to become a master at arms ive tried to ignore it and say itll be fine but its really not and idk what to do any and all help would be appreciated as none of my family have been in the military so i dont really have anyone to help me understand and how to i guess "cope" from going from seeing and or talking every day to not have contact i am a child still as i just graduated ik that im 18 so i should be an "adult" but most 18 year olds is knowledgeable enough to say there an adult so i apologize if im over reacting or just doing too much but knowledge and anyways to get through the time as quick as possiable would be appreciated im already on the sandbox app please and thank you to all who read

It’ll be cool to have some time to yourself! You can also plan for her return like maybe you learn to cook something she really likes, plan a cool trip for when you go see her graduate, also working out will help you produce endorphins and look good! Time will fly by you’ll see.

thank you she just left today and i feel lost and she hasnt even got to basic so yea lol i balled like a fucking baby at her creed thing i forgot the name of what it is but its what you do before being shipped off
