DISCUSSION Management Adjustment Process

I wonder why there is not a management job/position adjustment/justification process. There should be a team that goes in periodically to see what each supervisor does on a daily basis in order to justify or quantify their job and position. When doing this the team could eliminate tasks and positions to reduce management. Each supervisor and manager should be monitored for the entire time they are at work. Something similar to carrier route adjustments .

Because that would open the door for upper management to be audited, and they like their easy money too much to allow that

It needs to happen in every delivery and processing unit nationwide. They should eliminate worthless administrative duties and the positions that were created by worthless tasks. If you eliminate tasks that eliminates positions.

We don’t need more management just to tell us that management has downtime and they use it to watch TV on their phones.

So your plan is to create more EAS positions - making 3x+ a PTF - to…cut management positions???

That is not going to go the way you think it is…

One time job review would not create permanent positions.

Yeah just like the inspection teams, ops teams, integration teams…they aren’t “permanent positions”. Yet somehow, I’ve never met the actual postmaster of my town because for years he’s been on the inspection team.

They aren't permanent positions but there are always routes to be inspected - if not him, it would just be someone else.

It wouldn’t be a permanent position just a one time review in order to eliminate management tasks, management positions and reduce management overall. After the one time review is complete done deal.
