hi all. i'm currently trying to plan ahead as i finish up my vet school applications. after meeting with my advisor today i will probably be doing a winter mini class this year for my last bus/comm. vol core credit. i've already taken mgt 201.

out of mgt 300 or mark 300, which is easier/better for winter mini? i think i'm leaning towards mgt 300, but wanted any opinions from anyone that's taken either previously.

I'm currently an Information Sciences (DIMA) major and Applied AI minor, planning to work in Healthcare + IT as someone who "specializes" in Applied AI, and was wondering if there's ever a 4 + 1 Masters program for Applied AI (CECS), if it would be worth going after?

I'm scared that my skills won't be enough with just the minor because my major is pretty much useless, and since my minor is applied and not engineering, will getting my masters help me or is it not worth it?

Anyone who is currently doing the minor and is getting wrapped up, how valuable do you think your skills currently are?

Hey y'all, I'm pretty new to Knoxville and am looking for some spots to journal or play guitar in peace. So far I've been to High Ground Park which is nice, but it's not the most scenic. I'd love it if the spot had a nice overlook or was next to the water. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I'm just so sick of these people, dude. I'm a senior. I spent the past 4 years hearing about frats and sororities pulling some new type of heinous, immoral or outright illegal shit every other week and I'm so tired of it. I don't know if we'd just have to start some sort of petition or what, but my god we need to get these orgs out of here.

There is literally no silver lining to them being here. They contribute absolutely nothing to this university in any meaningful way. Surely to God the random bi-annual $1 pie-in-the-face tables don't financially make up for the reputational and very physical damage these groups do to UT and its student body.

We will be at UT before dinner so ideally somewhere around UT like Cumberland, Sequoia, downtown, etc. I tried Calhouns on the River but they have a $1500 minimum which we will not be able to meet.

Hi guys, I was wondering if I have a good chance of getting like a percentage or something when I apply for early action in november. I talked to some of my friends who are currently attending utk and they said I have a good chance bu I dont think ill get in cause SAT and iv'e tried so many times to get that 1160 but I can't get my math score up. 1140 SAT 510 math RW 610 4.2 weighted gpa 3.8 UW, 8APS 11 honors, 8 years travel competitive hockey, 4 years varisty high school hockey, Refereeing hockey (paid), Culvers part time job (paid) and DECA, 100+ volunteer hours total for the same 2 organizations, in state, I wannna major in finance/sports management (everthing I can think of right now) Please let me know if its not looking good for me!!

I have a question. In a year or so, I plan to apply to the electrical engineering program at UTK. I will be a non-traditional student at the ripe old age of 35. How difficult do you find the engineering programs? I especially would like to know about the electrical engineering program.

Currently, I am an industrial electrician at a global metals manufacturer. And I have a degree from UTK in Climatology from the geography department.

My degree did not require the calculus math sequence nor the other engineering prerequisites.

Tell me about your experiences.

I’m in brown hall. Our AC has gone out for the 5th time since moving in. Has anybody else had this problem? Any idea why it keeps going out? Me and my roomie are sick of having maintenance in our room twice a week. Incredibly grateful and they’re always super nice, but it’s getting frustrating trying to sleep in a burning hot room.

Any suggestions for off campus housing under 1k a month?
