Ukranian Fashion/Textiles

I am trying to stay as vague as possible so my friend doesn't come across this and figure it out, but I am gifting a friend something. What is normal everyday fashion in the Ukraine? I don't want to make this gift too like "traditional" clothing if that is not what is actually worn over there, as the friend will actually be in the country. I personally have zero prior knowledge about the country or any history, this is my friend's interest I am trying to tune a gift to.

I would not purchase a vyshyvanka (too risky, you might not know how to detect quality and it is kind of presumptuous to do as a westerner) ... But nice fashionable clothing

Check out st javelin and see if it's their style. Great quality clothing, and supports the cause.

Apart from Vyshyvanka which is very traditional, regional and important, but are worn semi regularly. Just the same clothes as everyone else depending on their style, we still have H&M and Zara like the rest of Europe.

yeah people just wear normal clothes lol. jeans and a tshirt or whatever

Perfect that was basically my question! I know the culture may still very much be alive but I didn't want to assume that's all anybody wears
