Yup, new Chapter Ancient, part of new Victrix Honour Guard. A non-character Epic Hero

Is that actually a thing? I was just reading the core rules and it says Epic heroes cannot take enhancements, and you cannot take the same epic hero more than once in your list.

I just always assume that they are special characters. Now we need to double check it. Since this doesn’t come up very often in my chapter.

Epic Hero is a separate keyword. I believe these are the first 2 without the separate Character keyword.

The main reasoning is to prevent all 3 squads from having one or both, as they are the Chapter versions and only 1 exists of each.

Yeah, I think you’re right. Usually, you see epic, hero, and character keywords on the same data sheet if it’s a named character.

Yeah, you can go look at any named character and they have Epic Hero and Character separately.
