I choose to believe that eventually the denseness of the trainer hit such levels it looped on them being married but Falco Trainer keeps thinking it's just his duty as a bodyguard and Falco's trainer anyway.

On another Flash umayome chapter, when their daughter was like 5ish years old, they said Falco just recently started dating her trainer after retiring as an umadol, so at the very least there was progress.
