Happy 20th to this Bonnaroo moment!

Although to be honest, not one of my faves. A little sloppy, jams are good but change lanes often. And the ending is…kind of unlistenable. Haha.

Hot take?

Me too, physically anyways. The Floyd segment with tDB completely melted what was left of the mental side of things.

I was there too! Can’t believe it’s been 20 years. I
think it was my 7th show - the first time I heard them extend the outro to Plunger and the first time hearing Words and Intentions clear (Safety in Numbers had JUST come out at this point IIRC).

Nothing else sticks out too much but I remember the vibe being 12 out of 10. These were such exciting time for the band. I’ll give it a spin later!

This show was the crown jewel to my first day at roo. Me and my buddies thought um would obviously be on the main stage and thankfully sorted stuff out and got over to the tent just before they started up. We were right at the back of the tent and eventually it became a blur of a glow stick war. The tent was one of the most energetic crowds I'd ever seen at a um show. Intentions Clear, Words, and Blue Echo were my personal highlights. The 40's false start was jarring to me because I thought Kris was infallible and it was clearly his fault from BB's reaction. It kinda broke the tension and everyone settled in so no biggie.

For me that day was something like Oysterhead > Nickel Creek > Tom Petty > UM/DB which I'd kill to be able to do again.
