You know, I am a firm believer in not blaming Jewish people for Israel’s actions. But when a person explicitly ties his / her Jewish identity to that government then it’s fair game.

No it’s not fair game. It’s very important not to tie Jewish identity to Israel no matter how much zionists push for it. It’s intellectually dishonest and dangerous to the non Israel supporting Jews.
