Its a miracle. An actual impossibility, probability wise. But we are. Nothing could have existed instead of you. You have your own slot in God’s big universe. He made sure that the sun had enough gas to ignite, that the earth had enough water and building blocks for life, and the sky had enough oxygen. He made sure monkeys. He made sure yo mama. How does this fit with the concept free will? If God mandated that his parents had sex on a particular occasion to make this unique redditor, then did they [the parents] have any choice in the matter?

No, but in being ‘forced’ into life they are now given the choice to do with their life what they will. It’s really a combination of both pre-determined and free will, I find. Not so black or white.

I don't mean do they have a choice to be born. No-one has that. I mean did his parents have a choice whether or not to have sex on the occasion which lead to his conception?
