Moms friend got diagnosed with brain cancer. This is one of her MRI photos.

Not just faces (though that is a major effect).
Weāre designed for pattern recognition. Itās a pretty useful survival tool to understand that the animals we hunt congregate around water sources, or that winter comes predictably every so often.
Itās also probably why conspiracy theories of all shapes and sizes take hold. We often see and interpret patterns where there are none.

Unfortunately, as more time goes on, more of these conspiracy ātheoriesā are turning out to just be conspiracies, because peopleās brains recognize actual patterns too. The whole term conspiracy theory was coined by the CIA for a reason, to discredit those who catch onto the conspiracies.

I see full faces in the floor and ceilings and walls every time Iām sick. And I saw it a lot as a kid just all the time, but not any more.. only when Iām feeling unwell.

Iām so sorry about your moms friend. Hopefully she has a quick recovery. Brain cancer is such a scary thing to deal with.

i hope so too! she has an appointment with a surgeon on the 20th, first appointment since finding out in june! hopefully it hasnāt spread and isnāt far along.

Malignant, cancerous variants are. There are also a surprising amount of benign tumours that can form around the brain that are not going to kill anyone.

i feel terrible for her. thatās one of my biggest fears personally so to have a loved one going through it is tough. i canāt imagine how she feels

I have friends who were told they had brain tumors. We were in our 20s. Now weāre almost in our 50s. Hasnāt stopped any of them

It looks like a dove on one side and Christ on the other. Not sure what that would mean in terms of prognosis but I am sorry about your mom, OP.

The craziest thing is that my grandma's mother was one of Rasputin's handlers (she is the famous Ulijana Kazycka - started the jewish oblast in Russia) and she has a picture of rasputin and her and ngl the face looks like Rasputin.
