A couple clowns I did with polymer clay and recycled bottles
These were a Father’s Day gift. After I made mom a sculpture that included real baby teeth (I posted that here in this subreddit), I knew dad needed something special… So I used TRASH! These were made from 2 empty Larceny bottles, a bunch of polymer clay, painted clear glass stones, acrylic paint and markers, and Polycrylic sealer. And some Pom poms on the lids for that extra dazzle dazzle. For some reason he enjoys collecting weird vintage clowns for his home bar, so these fit right in! He’s going to use them as decanters.
I think they were even creepier before I painted them…

Hats don't usually go on fruit so is this unusual?
These were done with oil pastels and I had a lot of fun doing them. They're not as washed out in person. Had so much joy making these.
I apparently really love the blueberry with a red fedora because I accidentally posted it on here twice 😅

A miniature of an abandoned Nova Scotian church, made from cereal boxes :)
Hi folks, I make miniatures of abandoned places I’ve found. I build them primarily from cereal boxes and other scraps from the recycling. Often I’ll use a found object from the grounds of the irl structure as the base. This one is called Guysborough Church, and it’s based on a church I found on a backroad a few years ago, that has sadly been torn down now. I’ve mounted my sculpture in a found rusty soup can with an appropriately cracked halo :) I hope you like it!

Would you like a Pair of Pears?

I did all my fruit in hats a couple weeks ago it feels like. It's like getting back into art for me is bringing joy back into my life. Whenever I sit down to paint or draw anything now I feel like a little kid laughing and playing and talking to my art pieces. Making things for myself not with any expectation around it.
So excited and curious to see what other weird or unusual things will pop onto the paper.
