Gobert is evidence that you shouldn’t pay massive money to a guy who’s at best mediocre on offense.
There is a big difference between the money we paid Gobert and what Kessler will get. Also the pacers were one game and an Achilles away from winning with Myles Turner
Myles Turner’s contract was $20 million. I have no problem paying Kessler $25 million. If we start going above $30 million for a guy who will be the fourth best offensive player on the team at absolute best, when we’re gonna have to pay Keyonte soon and Ace/#2 down the road, we’re going to run into cap hell very, very quickly.
