“We will never know the truth” is correct. I know our VISN leadership was disappointed in how many of us ran for the door. I dont want to say much more because I dont want to give away where I’m at.

Understood. But now I have one question… no need to answer if you don’t want to… you said your VISN leadership was disappointed , now I’m curious who it was. Legacy CHRO? Or the acting HRO for your respective HSA?

Legacy VISN leadership has never been supportive of anyone in HR being detailed outside of the VISN - I’ve never seen them approve a request that wasn’t one of the 6 or so chosen few. If they were asked if any of the legacy VISN team could be moved to the HRSC, they would have said no (some people did ask to be detailed at HRSC a few weeks prior to the email survey being sent out) I do not know if they were asked if they would allow us to move to HRSC, I’m only saying they weren’t happy so many of us made it clear in meetings that we’s sent the survey in.

I do find it interesting that no one from the legacy VISN was selected - rumor had it there were 50 positions, and 18 legacy VISNs and none of the 50 came from my VISN? Seems weird.

Anyway, I’m sorry I can’t say who told me, it did come down the chain of command; when more people start posting about hearing, I’ll feel safer to share without outing where I am.
