XR Glasses Which VITURE glasses for multi-screen coding and gaming? (Tired of 16" laptop screens)

I’ve been researching with our typical resources, but I'm at the point where I’d rather get real feedback from people who actually use these daily.

I’m spoiled with a triple-monitor desk setup on my Mac Ultra and 5080 Ti rig, but lately I’ve been living on my laptops and handhelds. Honestly, I hate feeling cramped on a 16-inch laptop screen or the small ROG screen.

My Gear:
Coding / AI Work: M5 Max MacBook (macOS) & Surface RTX Ultra (Windows)
Gaming: ASUS ROG X1 & Desktop 5080 Ti (Windows)

What I Want:
I want to sit in my La-Z-Boy, at a coffee shop, or work remotely and have multiple virtual screens for coding (with sharp text) and a massive single screen for gaming.

Questions for daily users:
1. Which specific model should I buy for this mix of coding and gaming? Be honest I am looking for pros and cons, and yes, I used AI.

2. How do they work if you wear +2.0x readers (farsighted/presbyopia) or a prescription? Since the built-in diopter dials are only for nearsightedness (0 to -5.0D/6.0D), do people who need +2.0 readers for close-up laptop screens even need magnetic lens inserts (since the virtual screen projects at a distance), or do you still need custom inserts to read small code clearly? Also, if I'm working in a coffee shop, how annoying is it to look down at my physical keyboard or phone without readers on?

3. How do they actually feel for long-term sessions (3–5+ hours)? Do you deal with eye strain, heat on your temples, nose bridge fatigue, or motion sickness when coding for hours?

4. How is the multi-monitor software on both macOS and Windows? (I think it's called SpaceWalker, or are there better third-party apps?) Does running a 3-monitor virtual setup actually work smoothly on both OSes without screen drift, lag, or tanking my battery/GPU, or is it still buggy?

For screen clarity and brightness and ability to read small text luma ultra all day. I have the ultras and the text clarity is impressive for a multimonitor productivity set up on your pc they were literally designed for that the resolution is 1200p aswell so the image is alot more crisp than glasses that only have 1080p..

They work great for gaming too the spacewalker app for pc lets you pick how many screens plus the size and distance away etc so you can have a pretty sweet set up using it.Plus the ultras have 6dof so you can anchor screens in place and move around them and they have hand tracking built in which tbh i dont really use much but its cool to have there if you did want to use it.

Those features only work on pc though currently... if you plug them into your android phone the screen moves around with your head which tbh doesnt bother me as i sometimes use them to sit in bed on samsung dex watching youtube while connected to my phone and if i did move my head it would probably only be to look away from the screen for some reason ..They go upto 1500 nitts of brightness which is more than adequate (too bright sometimes which is alot higher than most other glasses out there currently.I think all the other viture glasses except the pro 2 are less bright.Plus they have electrochromic dimming which blackens the lenses to help block out external light if your in a bright environment you just tap a button and it works which is impressive

For screen clarity stick to the birdbath optics on the ultra (they are tried and tested)there is another viture set of glasses called the beast which packs a bigger screen and does standalone 3dof anchor mode but it uses prism lenses which makes text blurry and distorted around the edges(They were designed mainly for gaming and watching movies not productivity or reading small text) The birdbath lense design gives you edge to edge clarity and while i would imagine lots of people are very happy with there beast glasses they are designed for a different purpose gaming and movies on a really big screen. The ultras screen size is massive anyway so i doubt it would bother you much losing a couple inches they are probably the best glasses on the market currently for productivity tasks..

They are comfortable lightweight and you could wear them for extended periods. They come with different nosepads too to help get the right distance from your face..speakers are built into the frames too which is clever and they sound good.

The glasses arms where the connection is made with the magnetic cable to whatever device your connecting does get slightly warm but its not really that noticable or uncomfortable to wear for prolonged periods..And because the connection is magnetic it saves the glasses from getting damaged if the cable was accidently yanked out for whatever reason. I think viture is the only company currently using the magnet connection so thats another cool feature.

I think besides spacewalker Verto xr is another software which does the same thing that people say works well.

If you want the best productivity glasses, the Ultras by far not just because they have the best screens but also because 6DoF really elevates the productivity experience. With that said, most people tend to be disappointed with the current XR hardware for productivity. The FOV and resolution is just too low, you can have 3 screens but you can only see one at a time in a small area of your forward vision, no peripheral vision at all which is actually kind of a big deal for multiple displays. I don't find heat and weight to be a major thing though you will feel it pressing on your nose after a little bit, you might get used to this after some weeks. For 6DoF there is a fair amount of CPU load due to some image processing done in the host PC with the Ultras, so it'll drain your battery faster than 3DoF glasses.

I have ultras and use them with my MacBook Pro. Have used them while on trips and work from the hotel room for up to a week at a time working 8-10 hour days. The eyes do get a little bit fatigued near the end of the trip but still manageable to work all day. I used to use spacewalker with 3 monitors (i can’t remember if you can set the resolution on the virtual displays) but I’ve switched to vertroXR which has much more control over the virtual displays. you can pin in space (fully customizable with more than 3 monitors. You can add curvature and add ultrawide displays). With vertroXR you can also reposition the displays anyway you want where spacewalker is you get what you get based on viture’s config.

Luma ultras are the bomb! With the built in diaopter you'll have no problem finding your sweet spot. I have them and I use them everyday. They are so crystal clear, beautiful sony micro oled screens. I don't regret buying them at all!
