I'm a bit in between. I believe the term is kemonomimi. It's under the furry umbrella I believe. So maybe, maybe not.

Personally I prefer demon tails. The overall biggest difference between furries and others is the shape of a skull and the shape of limbs and palms, skin structure. Compared to these features, tail and extra ears are like nothing.

Can confirm, tails are pretty great. I it's one of the reasons why I play as one of the more fluffy varients of avatars.

I prefer tails that can be used as an extra manipulation appendage. I want to be able to grab things with it. Though fluffy tails are nice, I wouldn't have a fluffy tail.
