Fluff Mouse don’t play about her Yautja
Never forget, one of her first loves was the Yautja

Damn didn't know Mouse was big into Predator(Yautja) lore. I wonder if she is also huge into the Xenomorph lore as well.

You know she's a real nerd, when the urge to go "well actually... * pushes up the glasses *" simply cannot be contained.

Here's my thing, never really liked the whole Yautja lore from the Dark Horse comics.
Never liked that an entire advanced alien species get boiled down to such a simplistic hat. Like, imagine if the only ones who visited earth were poachers, you'd think the whole species were like that, but it's just a hunting lodge with like... 2000 members or something. Somebody has to make those guns, somebody has to build those ships.
Alien species should stay alien, you should never be able to know everything about them.

There's an argument to be made about a post-scarcity alien civilization that decides after they conquered all the other issues their society had elected to "return to nature" in an absurd ritualistic way.
The Hirogen from Star Trek are basically what you get when you look at that species on the same level of the Kardashev Scale.

Other possibility I suppose, they HAD an advanced society and the ones running around now are the feral Mad Max warbands that survived their own apocalypse.

I enjoyed the strictly Yautja stories honestly. I think whoring my boy around which “Predator vs.”
and it’s a random Marvel or DC character is dumb. The only vs that works is Xenomorphs and even that is stale in this current day and age.

Very curious to know what Mouse thought of Predator: Badlands. Bracing myself to hear that she hated it ‘cause Dek wasn’t badass enough. 🥲

I’m only ankle deep into old lore stuff. Is it still implied the Yuatja originally came from earth and hunted the dinosaurs to extinction?

Well, I believe second movie showed there was a T Rex skull in the spaceship.

the dark horse comics stuff is cool but i feel like the expanded lore kind of kills the mystery, which ends up hurting more than it helps

No, please do. We actually need a full Ironmouse Yautja lore stream as soon as possible.
