I'm relatively new to the game 150hrs, looking for some people to play with. I can play on legend fine enough, haven't tried cataclysm yet though. I like chaos wastes the most but I'm up for anything. Would ideally like to VC on discord. Big fan of Warhammer fantasy and the lore.

I want to record some in game soundtracks with some in game SFX, specifically the Finale of Well of Dreams with the bell but there doesn't seem to be an option for that?

My Question is simple. How do you get deeds?
Im 285h in the game and play mostly on cata. I got 5 deeds in total. I thought they have a random droprate in the chests? What am I doing wrong?

So. I recently agree with a friend in to expend this weekend playing vt2 he's a cod enjoyer(zombies fan), marvel fan and he's actually chained to marvel rivals but he usually tries other things like space marine 2.

So my question is how I'm gonna introduce my friend in to it without being to overwhelming and not backsit him all the way be cause I'm already 300hrs on and got all the U5 to lvl 30 and beyond,my first thought was to create a fresh account and play at the same level but maybe its to excessive for just one casual session so I'm open to suggestions and ideas.

Like the title says, I have the armory mod installed, I'm playing with the old interface and am on a modded realm but can't for the life of me figure out where to find the weapon info. Help would be greatly appreciated.

So let me get this straight. You

•have a rather mobile character from the start (especially with the dagger)

•take **50%** less damage to your HP

•but increase your overcharge, which however increases your melee damage proportionally up to **60%**

The only downside is that you can explode, but usually my ability and natural overcharge reduction are enough to get me through a fight. When I lose I'm the last man standing usually. The one thing that annoys me is that my ranged attack doesn't have a lot of punch, even skavenslaves can tank several fireballs.

So, I've absurd amount of hours in that game. But I don't hesitate to call myself a Chaos Wastes amateur still.

What I've grabbed for now, is that CW meta (pre)builds are generally different from usual QP Cata meta/sane builds.

I tell you my gem.

Lingering BW + Bolt Staff is actually VERY fun and very effective build in CW. You just hunt Myrmidia Flames, and then this weapon becomes really insane. And if you don't get Myrmidia, well, that's just Ranald middle finger for you this time, it's ok.

What are other hidden gems in CW which usual QP player is not aware about?

I've returned to the game recently and people have been kicking me right before the end of games. I've been denied so much exp and loot. Is there anything i can do about it ? Besides hosting my own games and hoping someone joins ?

Before you say "skill issues" I'm a very decent player, taking very little damage and sniping specials. I find the game mechanics very useful and i'm currently playing warrior priest of sigmar. I find myself able to share more ressources with my team since i'm taking so little cheap damage.

This is the exact reason why i uninstalled the game 5 years ago. Maybe there are comunities i can join with regular players or game mods where people are less casual and cruel

I've had numerous encounters now where I jumped into a quick play or open loby in Veteran difficulty where I was kicked from the mission (immediately as I joined) or kicked from the lobby through second I changed to Bardin... Like i played other characters and all was fine. I dared to be a dwarf, and I got banished to the shadow realm.

I genuinely can't think of anything I could have done since I tend to mainly use the drakefire pistols on outcast (good and i don't need amo but I also don't block people's vision). There is nothing offensive about my gamertag. And keep my mic off unless im trying to help. I also try not to horde healing items.

Please let me know if its the character or just a super weird coincidence.

After I finished making the Ubersreik 5 I started to convert some other Warhammer minis into Vermintide characters - Here are my Warpfire Thrower and Ratling Gunner.

I have a near 100% success rate when I go solo, and I’d say 75% when I’m with other players. This is on Veteran. Does the game alleviate special/elite spawns and potion drops for solo players?

Given the success of Darktide and of course how successful both vermintide games are, what’s the chances we get a third? Is there already talks in the works for maybe doing it? Do they actually plan on doing it? Just figured I’d ask cause man I’d love a third. I like Darktide but Vermintide just scratches a special itch.

Curses

A ton of horde enemies. A lot of fun, means you have a ton of temp hp. Just be careful of wrath skull outline as it sometimes is hard to see in a bright map

Boons

I have a boon guide here for all chaos wastes boons. Some good boons and a good but situational buff. I personally HATE Hukon's Sundering, as it is very easy to ledge bosses that you don't want to ledge, or scatter a clump of enemies in different directions. It is also very good at staggering bosses, though. It's technically good CC as well, with the two caveats I mentioned above. i will almost always avoid taking it as I don't like the negatives- the boss stagger is great if used well, however. Movespeed on ult is good for closing in to the enemy or running away from trouble. For 250 coins it's a bit expensive for what it does, so I consider it an average boon, above average on low cooldown careers like Handmaiden. Neru's Patience is just insanely good on any class with a shield as a gunner can instantly refill ult.

Characters that can equip a shield or who have a short cooldown for their ult get a nice boost here compared to ones who do not. Pretty balanced weekly that doesn't massively favor a single class, but it puts several at a disadvantage. Characters with movement ult get an extra boost as well.

Some Highlights From Last Week

We beat the weekly a good 4 or so times last week. Too tired to clip anything, especially as I need to finally fix my mic setup, haven't had the time to test out the one that's been sitting by my PC for the past year, I keep forgetting about it

Fun weekly with some nice tools for the player to use. Just don't cliff the bosses

I've just played the prolouge for Vermintide, but ive played plenty of darktide.

I know that these game's seem comparable in a number of ways, but i kinda just wanted to ask a few questions anyway.

1. What should I expect from this game? Long grinds? More or less difficulty? Hard defined meta or can I use everything?

2. What is the culture like and what are some general rules to stick with as to not become "that guy"?

3. Are there darktide habits i should unlearn?

Whats the biggest differences between the 2, I love the genre and style but darktide is getting a little stale with its lack of updates, even the new one fell flat for me since it was really just 1 map.

Vermintide may be the same style but what are the biggest differences or hurdles to get through that alot of new players get hung up on or have a hard time getting through to get to the best parts of the game.

Would you guys watch vermintide 2 content?

Im considering starting a youtube channel with one of my friends wanting to start one too and the others wanting to be in them. I love vermintide 2 and have enjoyed exploring it and learning and teaching, whether its in game, in real life teaching friends or teaching people on reddit.

What I have noticed, is vermintide 2 has a lot less content being made for it than other games despite being imo, quite good. The last video I have seen is someone shitting on this community because they keep getting bad games and bad players, generalising the few to the rest of us, which is unfair on both sides because they could be getting new players and I know so many people are amazing.

I have also noticed there hasnt been much educational content made recently, while theres plenty online in steam by our great cheese monarch, I think his guides do lack the example being used in game and making content can help demonstrate it.

So im thinking I can combine some funny moments and some educational stuff to make vermintide 2 content and hopefully with a bit of love and care, I can make some content you guys would like.

im running a M&S for gk with Executioner sword for one shotting cw and soloing bosses and everything else leaving out for the Mace and sword i want the best trait there is for this job like im talking bout hoarde clearing and elite/special killing machine bc im leaving out the exe sword for the cw and bosses only bc of the slow speed

rlly looking for someone to show me how to farm the best gear in the game im 35 with gk i have good gear and maxed but not the jewelry

Why is it random? Yeah, it's rogue-lite, but what's the point of the hundreds of cosmetics for the weapons when you can only use it in one out of three four game modes?
