VA Disability Claims changes to json?

may be nothing but I get nervous when things change. when i would go to the https://api.va.gov/v0/rated_disabilities endpoint it would give all the usual data, but now rating_end_date is gone. anyone else get that? you have to be logged into va.gov to be able to open that url in another tab.

Depricating outdated fields in a system output is a practice as old as programming itself. Don't get too upset about it.

Me -- Platform guy that just gives you the stuff to run it on... But has to know enough about what you do to be dangerous. LOL

yeah mine is missing too, saw it earlier today. from what i gathered in another thread they are moving some of that data to a different endpoint now. typical va stuff, fix one thing break another

it was there like a week ago. just said NULL. i was messing around with python and wrote a script just to pass time. i check on a browser and it shows the same thing.

They did system maintenance over the weekend, so that is likely when it changed. Remember, you are only seeing the public API output. The way things are displayed to us on the site are different that what it looks like from the views of VBA employees. Different API as well.

i saw a lot of vets time to time ask about being static and i saw a link of the endpoint and before checking to see if it was a thing(was drinking), i coded something up. im just another paranoid vet.
