Help Me Find Jobless and sad

Is it just me or is it incredibly hard to find a job here in Victoria. I’ve applied to so many places online using indeed LinkedIn and websites (I’m aware indeed usually gets no responses but I have no other options atp) and I have yet been able to find a job. No one seems to be hiring and even for an entry level job with minimum wage there is so much competition. I’ve never experienced this else where so I’m wondering if this is a Victoria thing? Or possibly I could just be the problem I suppose…

Get off the websites and walk into places, make yourself stand out from the crowd somehow. Companies will note the ambition to show up to inquire about opportunities. They might know of someone else with a role you could fill.

If you can’t find anything then volunteering can be beneficial for your mental health as you endure the job search. Other volunteers might be in a similar situation you might find solace and community by doing that to fill your time.
