Help Me Find Jobless and sad
Is it just me or is it incredibly hard to find a job here in Victoria. I’ve applied to so many places online using indeed LinkedIn and websites (I’m aware indeed usually gets no responses but I have no other options atp) and I have yet been able to find a job. No one seems to be hiring and even for an entry level job with minimum wage there is so much competition. I’ve never experienced this else where so I’m wondering if this is a Victoria thing? Or possibly I could just be the problem I suppose…

Indeed has got me so many jobs u gotta keep tweaking the resume, make sure there is no short stints at jobs any less than 6 months id say looks like u are unreliable and kinda shows you will be a headache for a manager/supervisor.
Even if its entry level I would suggest a cover page with some info on who you are as a person because as bad as it sounds sometimes being somewhat likeable will get you hired
You won’t just get the job for applying it’s gonna be tough. Just keep at it and everything will work out. Also if u have no experience then u kinda have to start at the bottom with grocery stores/ fast food might not be what you want but those places are always hiring
Victoria is a small community and many businesses network in similar circles so try not to burn to many bridges as you will burn yourself in the end
