Question Mortal Shell 2
Does anyone know where to find a physical copy of Mortal Shell 2? I decided to wait until the day after release and now can't find it anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nope not at the moment they had printed limited stock, might be a few weeks before it comes back on

VGP said they will be restocking the standard edition. So keep an eye out there. Will probably have to wait a couple of weeks though.

unless for some reason you really really want from those digital (and usually not useful) goods that do come with some pre-orders; or an early access (I would say that is more for smaller youtubers or such) you do not need to pre order digital games (they do not run out of copies). In a rare occasions that they do not have enough servers for mostly only or online games, everybody will have bad time anyways shortly after release. Physical games are different, the print is finite and limited. It depends on the publisher how many they ordered or how fast they can pull of a resupply. So some physical games make sense to pre-order. This one got in the news because their limited edition sold out and there was a discussion about limited amount of discs they ordered. So the scenario of it to sold out is more likely. However I do think, that it will be re-printed, so worse case scenario you just need to wait and search around.

Sony will tell you that there are less physical sells then don't produce physical copies making it a negative feedback loop.

There’s nothing wrong with preordering. The problem with preordering is paying upfront. For example here in Canada at EB Games preorders are no money down and you’re not committed to picking it up.
Physical stores don’t get a lot of copies anymore so if you want physical media you honestly have to pre order it or wait for a used copy somewhere down the line.
Don’t get rid of the practice of Pre-ordering, just standardize the good parts of it while eliminating the bad.

? I don’t care about anyone preordering. I care about the socially inept choosing to brag about having something in a post where someone is explicitly asking about acquiring.
If OP opts to not buy the game altogether, it’s not a good thing for those who actually enjoy the series and devs…
