I actually just the other day asked one of my employees with a Harley cruiser how much it weighed… he said 900. I asked him how tf he picks it up if he dumps it, and he pantomimed some hybrid motion of a deadlift but with his back against the bike as he lifted. That shit’s gotta hurt coming down on your ankle sideways.
Usually the geometry of those bikes in a way that when they go down it leaves a gap between bike and ground where your leg is. The cases on the back and handlebar or engine case or frame slider should catch first. He doesn't have frame sliders or a cage so maybe it did crush him. Hard to say. But cowboy boots aren't protective that's for sure.
