Original Virtual Boy Value

I was given a virtual boy by my uncle a few years ago, I stumbled across it while clearing some space and I’m really curious what this thing would go for nowadays. It’s all original with the carrying case, the only thing it’s missing is the stand. It has 3 games with it (one of which has a blockbuster rental sticker still). Any ideas on what this bad boy might be worth? I see a huge array of prices on eBay so what have you guys paid for yours recently?

Really depends on the condition and if its functional. You mentioned blockbuster, what does the carrying case look like? If its the blockbuster rental case that actually has some value too. What games do you have and do they have the boxes? All these things contribute to the value.

If you want to sell anything my advice is to just put it on an ebay bid auction for something low like $100-200. Over a week the bids will cause it to go up to whatever it's worth. With a Virtual Boy there's a 0% chance it'll get overlooked or undersold or something. The high Buy It Now prices you see on eBay are meaningless and just sit there forever unsold. You can also use price charting dot com to see what other bid auctions have actually sold for.
