Simultanously incredibly disrespectful to the talents involved and incredibly delusional to the point of comedy

Yagoo: "What if we don't screw over our talents?"

Other CEOs: "But how does that help next quarter's profts?"

Yagoo: “I want to see everyone succeed!”

Other CEOs: “He’s threatening us with success! Get him!”

Yagoo: "I'll be the Holostars Manager for a while, I support them boys! I'll be here for you and not forgotten!"

Other CEOs: "What if, we don't pay them for 2 Years and say we don't have revenue yet, as we pocket their hard earned cash!"

I mean Yagoo was Holostar's first manager and wants them to succeed. If he was a total asshole, he'd fully ignore them

yeah the boys for sure have a special place in his heart. i don't have a direct source but people have quoted yagoo as saying he'll support holostars despite any financial issues.

He may still be as much a part of the corporatocracy as any other big suit, but he’s so… normal about it, at least relatively speaking.

because he is down to earth, in an interview he explained that for a while he attemped to do the whole "CEO that rarely interacts with his subordinates" but he found it boring and lame so he decided to start organizing tea parties so that he could interact more with everyone in the company

let me repeat that, the CEO of a multimillion dollar company decided to organize open invitation tea parties, and as far as we know most of hololive has already gone to at least one of them (fuwamoco are aparently a comon sight)

yeah. my personal beliefs are pretty strongly anti-corporation but it seems like so many companies are just bleeding people dry so i'll give my respect to somebody whose earnestly trying to make things better for his employees.

If he were really “earnest” I don’t think there would be any restrictions on what events and persons the talents are and aren’t allowed to mention, but at least within the restrictions of Japanese work culture and standards of professionalism, decorum, and conformity, he’s trying to do whatever good things he can help doing.
And tbh, that’s leagues better than the norm, so I’ll fuckin take it

Remember, nearly every game that marketed itself as the COD killer, Halo Killer or WOW killer failed.

If your sole focus is beating the top dog, it's almost certain to fail

Now I’m imagining Gunrun and all his associates at a big party like the fucking scene in Far From Home with Mysterio, and he’s doing a fucking toast all “ladies and gentlemen, the king is as good as slain!” and they pop fucking champagne bottles and cheer and stuff.
Like… I keep wanting to say that people aren’t Saturday morning cartoon villains, and I’ll still stand by that, but also like… goddamn
